- All landing nets to be dipped before fishing starts.
- Minimum of 1 landing net per person and no smaller than 42 inches.
- Maximum of 3 rods per person.
- Bait boats are allowed.
- No leadcore or leaders of any description.
- No shelf-life baits other than for hook baits.
- No nuts of any description.
- Barbed or crushed barbed only (we prefer crushed barbed).
- No curved or long shanked hooks.
- No fixed or tethered rigs.
- No sacking of fish under any circumstances.
- Please respect other anglers at all times and keep radios etc to a sensible volume.
- All particle including pellets must be purchased from Etang Marolles.
- Unhooking mats and weigh-slings are provided by Etang Marolles, please ensure correct use.
A carp angler's dream is to catch big, immaculate looking carp. To produce this calibre of fish, we ask you to read and observe these basic fish handling rules. The observance of these rules will help keep our fish in the mint condition that you deserve.
- Before lifting the fish onto the unhooking mat have a container ready, full of water, to wet the unhooking mat, klinik to treat the fish, weighing scales and camera ready.
- Collapse the landing net arms and roll down the net when lifting the fish from the water.
- Return all fish ASAP and in warm weather be extra careful.
- Only move the fish from swim to water using either the unhooking mat or weigh-sling.
- No standing with fish for photographs.
